Cairo, Egypt – 29 September 2026: Grova Developments, the real estate development arm of Hassan Allam Holding, has appointed Hassan Allam Construction to deliver Grova Westfields in West Cairo under a contract valued at USD 1 billion. Building on the success of Grova EastHills in East Cairo which saw Phase One fully sold out, Grova Westfields marks the company’s continued expansion across the Egyptian market. Spanning 303 acres (~1.2 million square meters) in West Cairo, the development is being delivered through a strategic partnership with the Egyptian Kuwaiti Company for Real Estate Development.

Located in the heart of Sheikh Zayed, Grova Westfields offers easy access to Sphinx International Airport, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the Pyramids Corridor. Hassan Allam Construction’s scope includes the delivery of a five-star hotel with 150 keys, branded residences, luxury villas, and apartments, as well as infrastructure and landscaping works.

Broadway Malyan is leading the masterplan and architectural design for Grova Westfields, drawing on its international multidisciplinary expertise to shape the development’s overall architectural and planning vision.

Hassan Allam, Chairman and CEO of Hassan Allam Holding, said: “Grova Westfields marks a strategic step in our expansion in real estate development. Across our portfolio, we bring investment, development, construction, landscaping and facilities management together within one Group. Drawing on more than 90 years of experience delivering major projects, we can shape every stage of a development, from the initial vision through to the long-term experience of its residents. With a five-star hotel, branded residences, luxury villas, and apartments, Grova Westfields brings this integrated approach to life through a distinctive mix of hospitality and residential offerings. It is designed to respond to evolving expectations and deliver lasting value.”

Sherif Sadek, CEO of Grova Developments, said: “This represents a key pillar of our strategy to expand Grova’s presence in the Egyptian market. As we move into West Cairo, we remain focused on selecting prime locations and

developing projects that respond to the distinct character of each location and the needs of the market. This expansion builds on the success of Grova EastHills in East Cairo and forms part of our long-term vision to grow a portfolio defined by development quality and sustainable value creation.”

The announcement marks another key milestone for Grova Developments. In 2026, the company expanded its portfolio with the launch of Grova EastHills and Grova Westfields in Cairo, while extending its regional presence with the launch of Noor Khuzam, an integrated residential community in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Together, these developments reflect the continued growth of Grova’s portfolio and its expanding presence in Egypt and across the region, backed by Hassan Allam Holding’s extensive expertise and integrated capabilities across development, construction and infrastructure.
