Abu Dhabi, UAE,31 July 2026:Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) has launched the National Art Expressions Gallery, giving the community access to creative works developed by students across Abu Dhabi as part of the Frontliners Tribute initiative under the National Art Expressions Program. Each piece serves as an expression of gratitude and appreciation for the individuals and entities who serve and protect the UAE.

The initiative invited students to reflect on the values of service, resilience, and national pride by expressing their appreciation through creativity. Guided by their educators, students produced original works across poetry, painting, visual arts, music, film, and performance, with each contribution conveying a unique Message from the Heart.
Reflecting the initiative’s wide reach across the emirate, participation spanned public, private, and charter schools where students developed creative works across five categories, including Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Digital Arts, Literary Arts, and Interdisciplinary (STEAM-Based) Projects, honouring the dedication, courage, and continued contributions of the UAE’s frontline heroes.

Beyond creating their creative expressions, students had the opportunity to present many of their pieces in person to the frontline entities and personnel who inspired them, includingAbu Dhabi Police, the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Center – Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi Civil DefenceAuthority. These encounters transformed artistic expression into meaningful moments of gratitude, demonstrating how education can help young people connect their learning to real-life experiences while strengthening national identity and fostering a sense of belonging among future generations.
The National Art Expressions Gallery, now live, brings together artworks developed by more than 7,500 students in a permanent digital collection that celebrates the values of national identity, appreciation, and community responsibility. It will continue to grow through future initiatives and collections, providing a dedicated platform for the voices and perspectives of Abu Dhabi’s students to shine.
