About: Summer Restaurant Week, part of the Dubai Summer Surprises lineup of events and experiences, invites diners to enjoy specially curated menus at more than 50 casual and family-friendly restaurants across the city serving cuisines from around the globe. Reservations can be made through the Careem app via Careem DineOut.

SPORT

Ibn Battuta Mall Indoor Run Series 3/5

Date: 2 August 2026
Location: Ibn Battuta Mall

About: The Ibn Battuta Mall Indoor Run Series returns for its third event of the season, starting at 7:00am and bringing together runners of all ages and abilities in an indoor community race. Participants can choose from 1km, 2.5km, 5km and 10km routes, with the event offering a welcoming environment for experienced runners, beginners and families alike.

Dubai Sports World

Location: Dubai World Trade Centre

About: Dubai Sports World offers residents and visitors the opportunity to stay active throughout the summer at one of the region’s largest indoor sports venues. Taking place in a fully air-conditioned setting, the space includes facilities for football, basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, and more. Visitors also have the opportunity to rent a pitch for a casual game with friends or join a sports academy to level up their game.

About: Dubai Mallathon transforms participating shopping malls across the city into indoor walking and running tracks. Open to all ages and fitness levels, the free initiative allows participants to choose between walking or running distances of 2.5km to 10km at their own pace, providing an accessible indoor fitness experience throughout the summer.

Endurance Games

Location: Hamdan Sports Complex

About: Endurance Games makes its debut as an indoor multisport competition bringing together endurance athletes and fitness enthusiasts for a day of racing and community participation. Participants can compete across disciplines including aquabike, aquathlon, triathlon, duathlon and the EndureX challenge, with the event combining competitive sport, spectator experiences and fitness-focused activities in an indoor setting.

Beat The Heat DXB Season 5 ft Rasha Rizk

Date: 1 August 2026
Location: Dubai World Trade Centre

About: Beat The Heat DXB continues its fifth season with a special performance by acclaimed Syrian singer Rasha Rizk. Widely recognised for her work on some of the Arab world’s most memorable animated theme songs, Rizk brings her distinctive vocals to the stage for an evening celebrating music that has resonated across generations.

The Laughter Factory

Date: 7 – 15 August 2026
Location: Multiple venues

About: The Laughter Factory returns this August with five international and UAE-based comedians performing at venues across Dubai. Headliner Ricky Balshaw, an award-winning British comedian and Paralympic silver medallist, is joined by American comic Tevin Everett, a Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year finalist. The line-up also features Emirati comedian Abz Ali, UAE favouriteMiqdaad Dohadwala and Dubai-based Andrea Brooks, a Survival of the Funniest finalist.

A Night of Love and Tears

About: Egyptian singer Ramy Gamal and Lebanese artist Wael Jassar come together for a live performance celebrating contemporary Arabic music. Featuring two of the region’s best-known performers, the concert combines live vocals, large-scale production and a repertoire of popular hits for an evening of live entertainment.

Beat The Heat DXB Season 5 ft Al Shami

Date: 8 August 2026

About: Syrian artist Al Shami takes to the Beat The Heat DXB stage with a performance featuring some of his best-known tracks, including Doctor, Sabra, Wein and Ana Baadak. Known for combining heartfelt lyrics with contemporary Arabic sounds, the singer brings his signature stage presence to Dubai for a summer concert as part of Dubai Summer Surprises.

Beat The Heat DXB Season 5 ft Marwan Moussa & Hleem

About: Beat The Heat DXB continues with a collaborative performance by Egyptian artists Marwan Moussa and Hleem. Bringing together two contemporary voices from the region’s music scene, the concert offers audiences an evening of live performances spanning rap and modern Arabic music.

About: Thaalam Beats brings together celebrated names from South India’s music scene for an evening of live performances at Coca-Cola Arena. Headlined by Benny Dayal, Usha Uthup and Thaikkudam Bridge, the concert features a mix of Malayalam and Tamil classics alongside contemporary fusion and folk-inspired music as part of Dubai Summer Surprises.

Lucky Ali Live

About: Indian singer-songwriter Lucky Ali returns to Dubai for an evening celebrating some of his most enduring hits. Audiences can look forward to songs including O Sanam, Ek Pal Ka Jeena, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Safarnama, performed by one of India’s most recognised contemporary musicians.
