Abu Dhabi, UAE, 12 May 2026: Marking the beginning of a new chapter for dozens of young Emirati couples, the UAE’s collective wedding initiative brought together families, communities, and leaders to celebrate the foundation of future generations. In support of this initiative, SlashData, a leading UAE-based govtech company contributed AED 1 million to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security’s (ICP) collective wedding program, held as part of the UAE’s “Year of the Family 2026.”

Aligned with ICP’s efforts to strengthen family wellbeing, the initiative supports young Emiratis as they begin married life helping ease financial pressures while fostering stability, belonging, and long-term social cohesion through programs such as “Usrati.”

Held on 30 April 2026 at Mohammed bin Zayed City Majlis in Abu Dhabi, the ceremony brought together 60 grooms from ICP employees and their families under the theme “Growth and Belonging.” The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Family and took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council, under the patronage of His Excellency Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, Chairman of ICP.
